"Conserving" the Bible

You likely have come across this item already, but I am posting it here just in case. Conservapedia's Bible Project is underway to enhance the Bible so that it better reflects conservative values or assumptions. When I have checked the page, it has been so busy that I received a "Failed to Open Page" error. You can view a summary of the project, however, at this Beliefnet page.

Codex Sinaiticus

If you love museums, old manuscripts, and history, be sure to visit the Codex Sinaiticus site to view the oldest surviving Christian Bible. You will find about 800 pages of this manuscript, written in the 4th century. You can view the original text in sequence, or use the site to skip to a specific book or chapter. Many of the pages include translations. The site is available in English, French, German, and Russian. Fascinating!

Why the King James Version

As you may know, some people feel very passionately about using one version or another of the Bible. In this video, a man presents what he believes is a very important reason for selecting the King James Version rather than a more modern translation. As you view the video, it will be apparent why I emphasized man.
