Jonathan Haidt, a social psychologist at the University of Virginia, has been i the news quite a lot lately about his views of morality. This article from UVA Today offers a good summary of his latest book, in which he describes different types of morality and connects them to politics and religion. The story is worth a look, especially if you don't have time to read his book.
