Christian Theological Seminary seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in Pastoral Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy to begin July 1, 2009. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, and year-round clinical supervision in the MA programs in Marriage and Family Therapy and in Psychotherapy and Faith and in the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling.
Requirements: Theological Ph.D. or Th.D. earned or ABD with emphases on both MFT and pastoral counseling course content; membership or eligibility for membership in AAMFT and AAPC, including clinical training and/or eligibility for licensure; active involvement in a religious community; and commitment to theological education in the context of preparation for ministry. Established record of teaching, publishing, and/or supervision in marriage and family therapy and/or pastoral counseling preferred. Membership in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and ordination desirable. Women and racial/ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Peter, I don't have any more information on that position. There may be more at the school's website, www.cts.edu, or you might be able to learn more by giving them a phone call at (317) 924-1331. In many cases, a school that has advertised a position in that time frame (review of applications May 1st) will have culled through the applications by now for interviews. I'd recommend contacting them right away, or sending your information to the address in the announcement.
