Visiting Professor: Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Georgia Southern University invites applications for the position of Visiting Professor of Psychology (Rank Open). Georgia Southern University is a residential university serving 20,000 students located in Statesboro, near historic Savannah. The Psychology Department offers bachelor’s, M.S. (experimental emphasis), and Psy.D. (clinical psychology) degrees. The individual in this position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and have the opportunity to conduct research. Teaching responsibilities will include Psychotherapy Skills, Rural Practicum, and related clinical courses, as well as undergraduate courses.

Required Qualifications:
Earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology by August 1, 2012
Evidence of potential for teaching excellence
Effective communication skills
