- Lecturer and Trainer in Counselling
CWR in partnership with the London School of Theology (LST) has an
immediate vacancy for a lecturer on their joint degree course in Theology
and Counselling, based at Northwood, Middlesex.
This exciting course aims to train Christian counsellors who want to
develop an integrative practice with a strong Biblical and theological
under-girding.
The appointment with CWR, for four days per week, is on a secondment basis
from CWR to LST. (A job-share arrangement will be considered). The
successful applicant will join a vibrant team committed to developing the
course and contribute to the undergraduate training programme. Applicants
will need to be qualified to Masters or PhD level in
psychology/psychotherapy and have a strong interest in the relationship
between these disciplines and Christian faith and theology. A track record
as an experienced counsellor and trainer, whilst maintaining their own
practice alongside the post, is essential.
This role carries a genuine occupational requirement for the position to
be filled by a committed Christian.
